These are exciting times for skateboarding!
We are seeing more televised skateboarding events and a greater number of participants in every area of our great sport. Vert, Freestyle, Street, Slalom, Pool, Downhill, Freeboarding, and Banked skateboarding is booming and we all are looking forward to the next session!

About Us Background
Skateboarding began for me in 1972, with a solid oak deck, Chicago Trucks and Clay wheels.
The first skate park I ever skated was Earthin Surfin located in St. Petersburg Florida.
As a young pre-teen, I began skating with the likes of John Grigley, Walter Lewellen, and Bruce Whiteside.
During my early teens that crew included Paul Schmitt, Chuck Hults, Mike McGill, Bill Procko, and Michael Daly. Our home ramp was the imfamous "Saint Pete Ramp", where some of the worlds best skateboarders came to ride. Including Monty Nolder, Billy Beauregard, Chris Baucom, Rob Weir, Lonny Reiter, Todd Webb, Lance Mountain, Neil Blender, Lester Kasai, Tony Hawk, Buck Smith, Jeff Phillips, and many, many, others. In 2011 I was inducted into the Florida Skateboard Hall Of Fame by skateboarding heroes.

Our Inspiration
Coping Block Skateboarding Magazine was inspired and created to deliver all those skateboarding related stories, and personalities not covered or deemed worthy by the major publications. Coping Block Skateboarding Magazine is a core skateboarding publication providing a weekly source for skateboarding based lifestyle content, including product reviews, skate news, and feature interviews with historic and rising skateboarding talents.
Focus
We are focused on the Past, Present, and Future of skateboarding with an emphasis on the history of the sport. So many skaters have no knowledge of the history behind many tricks, board construction, urethane, or even the companies and the graphics used by those companies. There is a reason for it all, it's fun delivering the goods to eager readers. Coping Block Skateboarding Magazine is read all over the globe and is growing fast daily!
